Quality Aerosols Q81 California Compliant Contact Adhesive is a high strength, high shear and fast tack adhesive. Our adhesive is specially formulated for making permanent bonds but with an extended open time for greater bonding flexibility. Our Q81 Adhesive is best effective when both surfaces are coated. It can be used on all types of wood, most metals, all laminates and veneers and many other substrates. Q81 is a high solids adhesive with a quick tack time. It is also resistant to high temperatures and has a water resistant bond.
Used for the permanent bonding of wood, metal, laminates, veneers, plastics, cloth, fiberglass insulation and other substrates.
Q81 Adhesive is designed as a two surface bonding application. Spray an even coat of adhesive to cover 85% to 95% of the surfaces. Surfaces need to be dry and free of oil and debris. Allow solvents to dry 2 to 5 minutes until adhesive becomes tacky. Put the coated surfaces together and apply pressure. Full adhesive strength will be reached in 24 hours. All surfaces should be tested for compatibility.
Store in a cool, dry, and well ventilated area. Do not handle or store near open flame or other heat sources. We recommend storing at or above 65°F. Canister products should be kept off the floor.
